Disadvantages: Poor quality, poor customer service, lack of attention to detail.
I purchased an upholstery and garment steam cleaner from via The Guardian Readers offers page, Clifford James happened to be the supplier. Never again! The steamer arrived with two head attachments. One of the heads wouldn't stay on the steam head, the second head, a lint head did fit however within seconds of being used peeled off the fitting.
I called the premium number 'customer service' line and was told two replacement heads would be sent out. A week later they despatch them, but on arrival they are the wrong heads. So another call to the premium number and another promise of the replacement heads to be sent out - but no delivery estimation just 'when 'he' gets them he'll post them out'. Who on earth is 'he'?
It's an absolutely appalling service and although the steam cleaner is good itself the fittings are of very poor quality. I'd never heard of Clifford James before, and I'll be making sure I never buy anything from them via The Guardian readers offers again.
PS: On the Guardian Readers Offers page it shows Feefo customer feedback, as does Clifford James's own website - there is not one negative comment about this company at all, nor is there any way that you can leave comments. Feefo customer feedback for Clifford James can only be regarded as dishonest and purposely misleading after you read the comments on this site. Shocking company.
Summary: Terrible experience, waste of time.
