cnet.com

Newest Review: ... UK site is a great resource for the latest information. The website is set out in a very clear format allowing you to find/search for what you need quickly and efficiently. As well as this content varies on the home page allowing you to see that latest news, videos and blogs at a glance. Crave is the section of the site where news is posted in the form of blog entries, most of this information is very useful with new product releases and how-to-guides. However there is often a time lag between the news appearing on other small sites and the news appearing on CNET. CNET also offer some high quality reviews on the majority of electronics and a... more

CNET is a brilliant website providing up to date news on all the latest technology along with a great online community. CNET is a very large online brand with companies in various countries around the world. Although the US version of the slight is slightly superior when it comes to video content the UK site is a great resource for the latest information. The website is set out in a very clear format allowing you to find/search for what you need quickly and efficiently. Cnet.com is a technology based website. They have a whole host of different sections but their main focusses are product reviews, software downloads and news. Their software download centre is one of the best places on the world wide web to find the best free software around. They have a huge collection of the best freeware programs that are incredibly useful, provide peace of mind that they are virus free and save you a fair bit of money. Their product reviews are amongst the best you can find. They give honest, non biassed reviews of just about every upcoming, important piece of hardware. There camera and mobile phone reviews were incredibly useful to me in ...  Read the complete review

CBS's technology website Cnet.com is a treasure trove of of good things you just have to know how to find them. I was introduced to this page when I was at university studying Computer Science. How many times it got me out of trouble. Especially at 2 o'clock in the morning and assignment deadline was fast approaching at 9am. Step inside the Cnet.com home page explore all it's nooks and crannies. It looks like any other homepage with navigation buttons down the left hand side. Press these buttons to unearth the 19 categories from Applications to Videos. Click thenm to uncover the gems. More navigation button along the top and under the ...  Read the complete review

I would really like to be promoting my own website here, but I guess that I am just not up with the big guys yet. However, it is only fair that I share with you my thoughts on the CNET website, as they do get my daily visit. Essentially this review is about CNET.com, but it does encompass so much more. I get daily emails and visit CNET Asia, CNET UK and the Crave sections of the USA and UK websites. They also have dedicated video channels spurring off of their main websites. Tip One: Check out LOADED on http://cnettv.cnet.com/ this vidcast is bang up to the minute with tech related news. CNET.com is crammed full of useful information. ...  Read the complete review

CNET.com offers reviews for all kinds of technology and is well worth a visit if you are looking to buy a new product. The reviews are written by people who really know their stuff and their opinions have often swayed me towards or against particular products. I have found their digital cameras section to be of most use personally as I knew that I wanted to buy my partner a new digital camera for her last birthday but didn't really know where to start. Using the reviews and guides on CNET really pointed me in the right direction. I've also used them to help me decide on which mp3 players to buy for my nephews and nieces. Other reviews on the site ...  Read the complete review
