CBS's technology website Cnet.com is a treasure trove of of good things you just have to know how to find them.

I was introduced to this page when I was at university studying Computer Science. How many times it got me out of trouble. Especially at 2 o'clock in the morning and assignment deadline was fast approaching at 9am.

Step inside the Cnet.com home page explore all it's nooks and crannies. It looks like any other homepage with navigation buttons down the left hand side. Press these buttons to unearth the 19 categories from Applications to Videos. Click thenm to uncover the gems.

More navigation button along the top and under the banner nothing unusual there. Are you thinking about buying a new digital camera, or changing your mother board, do you want to save a packet of cash? Then check out the Editors Reviews on anything from Cell phones to TVs. New Product tests are performed and star ratings are given for "at a glance" reference. Buy with confidence, it will save you money and hassle. For a balanced viewpoint, user reviews are also listed below the editor reviews.

Is it important for you to keep abreast of the latest technology news? Go no further than the Cnet news from Crave to Security.

Perhaps you need some new software? Do you want to pay for it, or do you want it for free? Cnet.Download have got 4546 pages with 10 items per page from Browsers to Videos software. Filter by Most Popular, New Releases, Editors Pick, User Favourites and Top Freeware for fast searches.
Everything virus checked and spyware tested, how much do you want to save?

Oh you'd rather be shown how to use the latest technology? Then CNet.Tv is for you with videos on everything from "How to", "product video" tech shows and buying guides. Hidden away in deep dark recesses are the tips and tricks golden nuggets that will help you through anything from fixing red eye to C++ programming.

As you move about the site you just never know what more treasures you will fing. I've just shared a small selection of my favourites. Go prospecting and let me know what you unearth.

Summary: If it's computing it's on Cnet
