Consumabulbs [don't you just love that pun!] is a website that specialises is supplying car bulbs, and some other accessories such as fuses and wiper blades.

I appreciate that this is slightly specialized, and won't appeal to everyone [!!], but it seems to provide a good service.

The home page allows you to enter the bulb's reference no into a search box to help you to find the bulb you need. If you don't have the car's handbook handy and don't know the bulb's number, you can search by manufacturer and model.

I bought some fuses this week: a pack of 10 mini-blade fuses [all 15A] for £2.00 [cf Halfords £1.79 for 5 (a mixed pack)]. There is no postage charge [or the postage is already included, depending on how you may want to look at it] for delivery within the UK; postage is £4.95 for international orders.

I placed an order on Monday [Bank Holiday] and it was delivered on Thursday, which for a £2.00 total order was very good.

Sometimes you may well need an order sooner, and so might have to go to a shop/garage to get it; if you can afford to wait, this seems a great idea.

I've compared a few prices with Halfords, they seem to be between 30% and 50% cheaper.

Summary: Worth a look!
