Kitchens Direct gave me a timely phone call just as we were looking around for quotes to get the kitchen replaced. The designer came out on a weekend and draw up a kitchen design that had some good ideas and seemed to tick all the boxes including being competitively priced. After receiving 4 other quotes (one lower than kitchens direct) we decided to opt for them and placed the order. Appliance Deals can be found at www.appliancedeals.com and are by far the most dishonest company I have ever had the misfortune to purchase anything from. I bought a washing machine from them checking first that they delivered. They said 'no problem.' I placed my order and that's when my problems began. They have a ten point promise on the website that basically says that not only fo they deliver, but they also unpack your product and place it where you want it. If only I'd even got to that stage. I was phoned up the day before 'delivery' and given their promised four hour window and told it would be delivered between 10am and 2pm. ...

My kitchen was supposed to be finished on October 16th. We are the 20th of November... and I still cannot decorate, I have half my appliances still stocked in my dining room, a hole by my electrical socket, part of the cement floor still showing under the cabinet, it has now cost me dozens of pounds in phone calls (I was promised countless calls and NEVER received one), and had to take over a week off work, wasted waiting for fitters/surveyors who did not bother to turn up (and no calls regarding this either!)
