I don't know about you but I enjoy looking for sites offering free stuff, I'm short of addicted to that!

And what I do enjoy more is when I find sites which offer things not mentioned anywhere else. How about you? Come on...Admit it!
Although I consider myself quit good at finding such sites, I must admit that I hadn't looked at coolnetstuff.co.uk, so I was quite eager to see what it had to offer...

The first impression isn't that good-the site layout is quite basic although the colour scheme isn't that bad and it doesn't take long for the page to load. On the left hand side of the page we have a set of links to the various sections of site (Home, Free Stuff, Win Stuff, Money Stuff. Cool Stuff, Buy Stuff, Webmasters, Mobile Stuff, Forum, Contact Me, Links). Main positive aspect of the site: Different sections for different things and quite reasonable categorization.

If you move to each of those sections, however, you will be hugely dissapointed. The presented "stuff" is quite limited, old and well-known, although each link is presented individually with a short description. In order for you to understand what I mean by "limited content" let me give you two examples: In the "Win Stuff" section we have five links only (Bananalotto, DailyDraw, Freemoney.fm, Bet365.com, Coldfunk.com), while in "cool stuff" (where you would expect a large number of links) we have five as well (Firebox, Ebay, Linguaphone,As seen on Screen, Movietrack) with none of which offering free stuff...From what I found (and correct me if I'm wrong) only "Buy Stuff" section had more than 5 links (6 to be precise).

The site seems to be a bit out of date as well: In "Win Stuff" page, it says for Coldfunk: "Win an exclusive coldfunk.com T-Shirt...Answer 3 questions (answers can be found on the site) for your chance to win win
an exclusive T-Shirt. Closing date 1st August 2002".

The only good idea that this site has is its forum, however it seems to be a bit deserted since its total number of posts is quite small. On the other hand, it's only a week's old, so it might "grow" with time...

In total, I wouldn't recommend it-There is a big number of "free stuff" sites in the net, which offer more and are regularly updated. However do visit it, if you want to discuss about freebies with somebody else in the forum-if you find anyone there that is...
