Did you know that there is a car stolen every minute in the U.K., every day ??. Did you know that the owner of that car is getting well and truly,'fed up' with it ?? O.K. -- Seriously folks, - Are you aware of the fact that the Home Office has recently completed a crime survey in the UK, which estimates that last year there were 1,284,000 cases of burglary against domestic property, 2,956,000 car thefts and 3,246,000 incidents of violent crime which includes robbery and ‘simple’ thefts such as bag-snatching and shoplifting etc... There are articles on crime prevention and staying safe on the streets as well as a section on drugs. There is up to date news on major crimes that have made the National news and a section entitled 'crime alert' where you can check out any scams or criminal activities being operated in your particular area. Crimezone is a brand new (this week) website which aims to focus on all aspects of crime - from how to beat the burglar; 'happy' tales of kids acting against crime; tales of criminals of yesteryear and interviews with members of the judiciary and police. The first thing to be said is that this is a real quality start-up. Although it's only been on-line a few days there is a surprising depth and breadth of information here. Perhaps that's not surprising - it's backed by Northcliffe Newspapers (owners of the Daily Mail etc) and incorporates material from many of their local papers; which include big titles like the Nottingham Evening ...
