It's hard to join at first glance, but it's actually simple! You just go to the members button, and it takes you into the joining questionnaire. Now, I have yet to do many surveys from this one, but it pays $5-10 for an email poll, and typically $30 for a focus group, which is an online discussion via a chat facility.
