I'm actually very impressed with the quality of this chat. The usual chatrooms are the same, text only, screens popping up everywhere with: 2hot4u_babe, but this is something else! Not only are there at least 16 main chatrooms including The Plaza, Sunset Beach and the ePlex, there are 8 colonies, each with their own set of neighbourhoods, then each with their own set of blocks! The list goes on, there must be over 1,000 chat rooms as each person when they "Immigrate" to Cybertown receives an almost personal chat room, their "House" that they control. Cybertown.com is a great idea - having been a user/wizard in the Palace 2D Visual Chat program for several years, I was interested in exploring different visual chat routes and finding a 3D world to hang out in. Cybertown has the feel of a more advanced community, with cybercash(great idea)that you can spend on things for your home, etc, and virtual pets(I called my new cat Ginger, after my own live pet)which you can program to respond to certain phrases with pithy comments! If youwant 3D chat then Cybertown or www.cybertown.com has a lot more to offer you than most 3D chat rooms though it is not without some problems. Cybertown is a virtual community online.
