Dean and Nigel are an excellent comic duo, and their web page ‘How to blend in’ is hysterical! (find it at www.deanandnigel.co.uk) Basically, Dean and Nigel are two blokes who spend a certain amount of their time ‘blending in’ with people around them. With the aid of a bag of disguises and a camera, they have captured some terrific blending escapades in and around the city of Norwich. They find people, use their disguises to make themselves look the same, and then take a photo...simple as that! The duo have also done a film of ‘blends’ which was shown on E4 very recently. The pictures on the site are great. The captions that ... Read the complete review

Not the most amusing web site in the world. But it is well worth a look. As the web address suggests it is run by 2 men called Dean and Nigel. They profess to show us how to blend in with their subjects. Some of the pictures are quite good, I find that the old calander shots are the best, but that might have something to doo with the fact that they are also selling a 2001 calander for £5 plus post and packaging. The pictures in this calander will not be shown on the web pages until later in the year. I just wonder what these two doo as a day job, they seem totally off of their heads, I mean wandering round streets and trying to act and look like a subject then ... Read the complete review

Truly original!! I haven't laughed out loud at a website in in a very long time, and I have tears running down my face. Dean and Nigel are two normal blokes. They go out onto the streets and take photos of themselves with unsuspecting victims. They "blend in" with them - that is, they make themselves look like the poor buggers they are taking the pictures of. It doesn't sound funny at all - you have to visit the site for yourself. They remind me of the plain ridiculous style of humour as Reeves and Mortimer. There is no swearing or violence for a change, just really FUNNY LOOKING PEOPLE. I'm going to buy a calendar. ... The Deanandnigel site is a piece of comic excellence, as although there are only so many poses you can pull, it still amazes me as to how they can actually get away with it. I would love to see a film of them doing a photoshoot. As far as the site goes, it is a collection of pictures of the said gents, Dean and Nigel, "blending in" with other people. Using a selection of props, such as assorted glasses, silly hats, foul clothes, they are photographed alongside the person they are trying to blend in with. Alarmingly people seem to go along with the game. Some pictures are funnier than others, but the content of the site is amusing enough, even ... Read the complete review

The Dean & Nigel site is subtitled How To Blend In! And features photographs of Dean and/or Nigel 'blending in' with random passers by. The shots range from the fairly casual and unposed to more structured shots that have obviously involved some preparation, costume and make up etc. Hmm...doesn't sound too amusing does it - but trust me! The home page offers several galleries where I'm sure you will find some images to make you smile. There is a strangely Pythonesque feel to the photos - almost completely ordinary - whilst at the same time - completely off the wall. You can also order a 2001 calendar, enter a caption competition and ... Read the complete review
