Advantages: Temporarily novel, amusing site

Disadvantages: No longevity whatsoever, a disposable site

I only ever visited deathclock.com once, and that was ages ago. I followed it from a link in some magazine, I'd only just rediscovered it after coming across biker2000's review.
Anyway, this site is just a novelty. It's a gothic, morbid looking site where you enter your birthdate and the site (possibly complete random, or partly) calculates when you could die; and you can get results depending on bad you want it to be, e.g. a less or greater life span. And, um that's about it. You can giggle momentarily, "hey, I'm gonna die then, possibly!", but that's about it, you won't bother coming again unless you want to buy some merchandise (including a physical death clock), or read outraged user emails posted by the site's creators to outline the ignorance or the stupidity of them etc. It's funny as some people take it very seriously, I don't know why, it's just a gimmick! All in all it's just a novelty. I'll give it an average rating as it just serves it's purpose, and well, and that's it. A simple concept, and a fairly interesting site. Just give it a whirl, you've got nothing to lose...Your life though maybe though, hahaha! *ahem* =)
