You can also customise the list of channels you receive, and the order they appear in, and it covers Radio as well as TV. Recently, they have improved the site so that more detailed info about the programme appears when you hover the mouse pointer over the programme title, and add or remove favourites by right-clicking. It is rare to have a problem: twice in the years I have been using it, my details got wiped from their server. Once I could prove I had paid the subs (by sending them... more

I have been using Digiguide.com for several years now. With the increasing number of channels available, it's impossible to keep tabs on what programmes are coming up. With digiguide, you can set favourite programmes, and it will send you a reminder just before it is due to start. Every time that programme is shown, it will appear in your list of favourites. You can also customise the list of channels you receive, and the order they appear in, and it covers Radio as well as TV. DigiGuide is a brilliant service that gives you a customisable electronic TV guide that you can control. You download a small program from DigiGuide.com and then get updates on a regular basis. The program is intelligent enough to automatically check for updates whenever you’re on line, so you don’t need to keep checking manually. So what does it do? Well first of all you choose the channels that you receive and order them as you wish. DigiGuide shows you a plan view of what’s on. A click on a button lines a guideline up with the current time to make it easy to plan your viewing. You can very quickly see what’s on now and next so ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review digiguide.com: Never miss a Favourite Programme 'cos U were Browsing!! (180 words)

What a handy bit of kit!! Boot up and up it pops, a quick scan to check that none of your 'highlighted' favourites is on later, and if one is just right click on it to set a "reminder". You’ll never miss another programme/film again because you’d forgotten the time whilst browsing. Hover the cursor over a programme and an info box appears telling you what it’s about and a rating, even for those films that your ordinary TV guide fails to give any info on. Web links to associated sites or extra info on programmes. Download a fortnight’s worth of TV & Radio listings at a time selecting only the channels you wish to. Create your ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review digiguide.com: Free 14 day TV guide on your PC  (1104 words)

I’ve been using the free download of Digiguide for a couple of months now and have been really impressed with it. For anyone not familiar with this download, it is a windows program that gives you 14 days TV listings for the UK and Ireland which their website likens to the Sky EPG. Other features it recommends are advanced searching and reminders for over 200 channels, world wide web integration and numerous links to websites, although I’ve mainly just used it as replacement for a newspaper TV guide. The current version of Digiguide is 4.02, although version 5.00 is to be available soon. There are two ways of using it, either registered or ...  Read the complete review
