Digital Spy (www.digitalspy.co.uk) is rather a guilty pleasure. It is a website that I check religiously everyday but would never admit it to anyone. It is basically a celebrity gossip site, operating on the same type of news as 'Heat Magazine' but on a much larger scale. The information it provides includes: - Soaps: Provides written summaries, recapping on what has happened in recent episodes of you favorite soaps including Eastenders, Hollyoasks, Coronation Street etc as well as 'spoilers' to give you a hint at will be happening over the coming week. Digital Spy is a website which provides you with all the latest goings on in the showbiz world from music & films to TV & gaming and loads more in between, from the UK and abroad. Since I first discovered the website around 3 years ago, it's a site I now visit numerous times during the day to keep up to date with all the goings on. It is updated very regularly & is usually first with any breaking stories. Digital Spy is an enormous showbiz website split into an article-based section and a large community forum. The article-based section is split into genre-based categories (e.g. "Soaps") and is packed full of news, gossip, episode summaries, "spoilers" (sneaky previews of upcoming plots) and more. It's a brilliant resource for finding out what's happening with your favourite actors and programs and to get the premiere dates for shows. I regularly visit Digital Spy and over the past couple of years this has become one of my favourite entertainment websites. The website itself offer up to date entertainment news, soap spoilers, television news and information on new programmes and the development of new series or films. In addition, there is also a large forum community where all things showbiz are discussed. This is a great community built up of many people with varying opinions and it is great fun to get involved with some of the discussions or debates that are posted. Music and film reviews, the latest celebrity gossip, business news involving companies in the entertainment industry, minute-by-minute Big Brother updates: DigitalSpy has it all.
