Oh it's great to be a DMOZ Meta Editor.
It's how I spend my time.
The power it gives is awesome.
Which inspires this little rhyme.

I spend all day and night
Rejecting each submission
I analyse all elements
To find some wrong condition.

And though my life may pass me by,
As I sit with my PC,
I don't mind, my purpose is filled,
Hitting the delete key.

I love referring to the guidelines.
All 600 pages long.
They're so full of contradictions.
They're sure to make you wrong.

And if you plead innocence,
It will be my delight.
To explain to you in detail,
Why you're in this plight.

But I won't try to assist you,
No, that's not my job.
Can I speed up your request?
No, I'd rather be a snob.

You see, I have all the power.
You have to know your place.
So go find another directory.
DMOZ is a disgrace!

If you submit your site to DMOZ you can expect a delay of several months to your site never actually appearing in the directory, alternatively you can find a corrupt editor on guru to quickly get your site to appear and pay them about $80.

Summary: Don't expect a response anytime in the same year you submit.
