We are truly living in the internet age. There are websites to cater to every interest (some of which are more...esoteric than others). Some of these are 'static' - set up and maintained for people to view and surf, whilst others are interactive. Examples of interactive sites include dooyoo, of course, but also discussion groups and posting boards. Many (if not most) of these are affiliated to an interest or hobby.
