dooyoo.forumotion.netNewest Review: ... have to be a few sandwiches short of a picnic to believe that a newly formed forum is going to be a Utopian paradise immediately. Sadly, some people don't have the ability to understand that, luckily though the majority do and roll with it. There was an incident several weeks ago when a former member and her relation both threw hissy fits because they thought a member had mentioned the ... more |

This review is to correct some of the stuff mentioned in other reviews on the site. This is a private site run by eilidhcatriona and katykicker, it was set up for Dooyoo members to chat about the good and bad aspects of Dooyoo, and as with all forums there are off topic and chat areas, and there are areas where members can discuss other review sites and money making sites. Eilidh and Katy have a thankless task trying to run the forum as it has been fraught with problems since the outset. Unfortunately there are a couple of members who are long term Dooyooers who think their word is god and won't or can't listen to reason, and woe betide anyone ... Read the complete review

So, after frequently being told off by dooyoo for being too opinionated on an opinionated website I have moved my frustrations (and rabid need for freedom of speech!) elsewhere, Dooyoo Lovers the unfortunate recipients, the latest in a long line of affiliated dooyoo message boards to grace my naughty and occasionally antagonistic pen. These boards have tended to be a rather samey experience over the years, generally run by those who are perceived or feel important on dooyoo, usually the veteran guides, the moderators cut from the same cloth, the boards effectively an extension of prominent dooyoo members roles on dooyoo, these guys and girls often ... There have been quite a few Dooyoo-related message boards (or satellite sites as some call them) over the years. I believe that the original Dooyoo board, OpCom (the opinionators community, if I recall correctly) was the first for any of the UK-based review writing sites. The Opinionated Community (OpCom) ChuckleWeb ChatterWeb Opinionators (Optors) (The Review Writers Forum (FOIB)) Dooyoo Lovers *The Reviewers Room The above is a list of all the major players in the Dooyoo-related forums (that I can remember), listed more or less in chronological order. ChatterWeb and Opinionators covered both major UK review sites ... Read the complete review

I have been a member of Dooyoo Lovers for a couple of months. I had previously joined the face book group but due to a lack of activity I never bother visiting The site is fairly straight foreword to sign up to but it is a requirement of the site that you use your Dooyoo user name which some people have objected to but I find it makes life much easier. You do have to wait for your request to be authorised. It is a small site in comparison to the number of members on Dooyoo as there are only 68 registered members. The site is set up into four different sections General announcements Dooyoo chat I won Non Dooyoo ... Read the complete review

I have only ever been a member of a couple of forums in the past, the messy Money Savings Expert being the main one which I found too large and hard to find the information I wanted and another dance related one however I joined what is known as Dooyoo Lovers because I had a couple of questions to ask, had seen a link to it on a member profile and had given up on the Dooyoo staff ever answering my questions. Personally I'm not a fan of forums and was amazed that there would be one solely devoted to Dooyoo, after all it is just a review site where you can make some money, I never really thought people took the whole thing so serious. Signing up is easy to do ... Read the complete review
