How quickly things come and go, once everyone was moaning about this little thing. Now it more along the lines of: "DIE NOKIA POP UP DIE!!" What will we all be quarreling over in a months time? Well I actually thought this was a good tool, catering advertising to suit the members interests. Good idea, ... Read the complete review

Smack! Owch. That bloody hurt? What the hell did you do that for? Day after day, week after week, month after month I return here. I do my work, write my words, and give them to you as a gift. You use my work to lure in unsuspecting punters and trick them into buying things for which you get money. Out of this money you pass on ... Read the complete review

Just before I decided tow write this old opinion, the old pop up selector just appeared! Hmm, maybe its a sign. Anyway some people say "they cannot see the point in it", however it is only a means of dooyoo structuring its advertising. This way techy people get to read techy ads, and in theory a higher click ... Read the complete review

Aften having been off Dooyoo for the last couple of months, this was a new surprise for me. The whole site has changed since I last visited, but when I signed in this popup appeared from Dooyoo. It is called the DooyooSelector and it there for you to choose what type of advetising you want to see. There are 5 different categories ... Read the complete review

I suppose my title could be the truth. Dooyoo is good enough to pay us for writing, they have to get money from somewhere and advertising is a good money maker. Now to the subject in hand - the new "toy" on the Dooyoo site. It is known as the DooyooSelector. What this is here for is so that each individual user can ... Read the complete review

Nah, it would have been too easy, wouldn't it? Anyway - Dooyoo Selector. It's not something that I'm particularly fond of, mainly because it's a pop-up. And I hate pop-ups. Hate 'em I do! I have to say that I don't really see the point in 'forcing' people into choosing which types of ... Read the complete review

Select, twiddle your knob and select a category. Move that virtual dial; give the advertisers what they want. Twiddle, fiddle, diddle, do anything with le at the end, just play with the knob. Ah yes, the DooYoo selector, another opinion for your delectation, savour this, spit it out, mutter “pah, another bleedin opinion on this ... Read the complete review

So this is Dooyoo's new scheme to help us make better choices, is it? No, it's just another way of irritating the hell out of me. Clearly, it's not personal, but there must be some bloke back at the HQ laughing his head off, knowing that out in the Dooyoo community, hundreds of users everyday are throwing bricks at ... I have to say that pop-ups annoy the hell out of me in general. I hate Dooyoo's biggest rival Ciao because of its constant use of pop-ups and other annoying advertising, but I would also have to admit that this is a great idea. Yes again its purpose is advertising, but rather than trying to force a product on you it gives you the ... Read the complete review

Strange one, this. I love Dooyoo, and I come here everyday, but recently I logged on and the 'DooyooSelector' appeared on my screen like a VCR control gone mad. I think the change of look for Dooyoo has been fantastic (I can barely remember what the old one was like), and I am part of the reason why you get to choose what kind ... Read the complete review

I was waiting for the dooyoo site to load up when a window popped up, my first thought was to Close it. My computer gets ever so slow with windows popping up but before I got my mouse round to it, the window had loaded up. It ended up to be one window that you wouldn’t want to close. If you cast your mind back to last ... Read the complete review

Having not been able to get someone doing an impression of Ali G out of my head for the past two days,i decided to try and exorcise it by giving you my opinion on this new fangled dooyoo selector thing. There's something about the new techniques Dooyoo are using that worries me. When they secured new funding we suddenly found our reward barriers moved and we had to convert to Ipoints or earn £100 (you can still earn £50 in cash but it requires a £5 penalty to be paid). I admit that the crowns soon flooded out but it does have me somewhat ... Read the complete review

Well I think everyone knows of what we are talking about here. #What is it? The dooyoo selector is the main source of advertising on dooyoo. A little pop up window that accompanies most websites in the hope of providing much needed revenue. In this case a fair amount of that revenue ends up both in my and your pockets in the form ... It's been here about a week apparently, but it feels like a good two or three months, because the Dooyoo selector is just that little bit, errm, well, IRRITATING, with its constant urging to us to let them know what sort of ads we would like to be bombarded with. I have to say that I've not been as plagued as some other members ... Read the complete review

First of all just let me say that I absolutely hate popups they are irritating and spoil the whole process of surfing the web. This is particularly the case where site carry several popups on each page. You either end up with open windows all over the place, or you diminish them so that they just sit in your system tray. Amusingly, when I clicked on "write opinion", the selector dial popped up. (Note: this piece has been updated to try and fend off the numerous "somewhat useful" ratings I'm getting. The changes reflect what people have told me in email, and for that I thank them all) It's a pop-up window. I really, ... Read the complete review

Funny, strange and unimportant , that’s what I thought of this category at first but No, there’s more to it. I felt that I really must express my feelings about this matter.
