If you need to send an E-card, then this site is as good a place as any to start. There are literally hundreds of similar sites to this, but here you can find a card which revolves around the general theme of wildlife and nature, its probably the best on the net, or at least the largest, for this kind of thing. The site itself is well laid out once you get past the initial start page. I foun this quite confusing because the actual E-card categories seem to be somewhat hidden under a link in the middle of the page, you would think that this isn't the main point of the site or something.Well, I suppose in a way it isn't because one major feature of the site is conservation and they tell you about the site and different animals from time to time. Atthe moment there is a short piece of text about the territorial behaviour of caterpillars on the start page...ok, maybe, I'm alone in finding this mildly interesting. Find the link to the complete card catalogue, and not the newest cards which easy to find, and you have an enormous number of cards to choose from all organised into different categories such as Love, Friendship, Birthday...you knw the kind of thing, far too may to list. Select a category and you'll be taken to the cards which relate to that selection. 8 are displayed as thumbnail images per page, downloading quickly and if they are animated then the animation plays in the thumbnail so you can see what you are getting. Clicking on one of these cards brings up a larger image and lets you fill in all the message details etc. All very simple and fast which is a bonus when you consider some similar sites which seem to take forever to display the pics. I like this site. Most of the graphics are of cartoon animals and plants, so if you are looking for something else then you came to the wrong place. Otherwise its probably te biggest resource on the net for such things and you are more than likely to find what you are lookin
g for. Another interesting feature is live video cards where you can send a card featuring something like Tower Bridge of Big Ben and get a live video feed of the subject which updates every thirty seconds...its kinda dark now though ;o) Overall, one of the better sites of its kind and also a great resource for finding out info about particular animals and wildlife(if that floats your boat). Worth a bookmark if there are people you know who would appreciate this kind of card. I do, I have and I do use this site quite a lot.
