over the years google have made a great name for them selves online with search engines that produce better results than any other on the net, free email boxes and loads of other things including google earth

Have you ever wandered what something would look like from up in the air, just like a bird sees it, well now is your chance to see things this way as google earth allows you to look at any where you want to from a birs eye view.

You have the choice of looking at things by map and road or by aerial view, it is very difficult to find a place by aerial view as you have never seen it looking like this before but it is easy to find what you are looking for on the road maps as the road names are on there then just click a button to transfer to aerial view.

It is fasinating to look at places you know with this and even your own home, there was rumor when this first started about it being live but it turned out to be done with arial photos which are not very upto date, the photo of our home was taken before october of 2005 as my honda cbr is on the drive way so are not very up to date pictures

You begin with a map of the world then choose the country you want to view and then keep getting closer by pin pointing what you want to see, if you were looking for your home you would first go to your country, then your county, then your town, street then look for your home.

It is fantastic for looking at lots of different things, i used it to show a friend the light house we saw on holiday last year out at see just the other day and on christmas eve they did a live broadcast showing santa on his way to your house which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed being able to track santa
