Most of Europe pretty much thinks of sms-messaging as standard fare - the way to reach almost anyone anywhere. It's convenient. It's fast. It's easy - that is until you get on a plane and cross the Atlantic on holiday or want to do business with someone in the US. "SMS me when you get those details" you tell your NY colleague.
