Advantages: nice looking, reasonable idea

Disadvantages: don't know whether I would go for it - probably not

What a gorgeous start up screen! Lemon, gold, amber. Very zingy, zappy and friendly looking.

This site is a sort of variation of eGroups, Topica etc. eCircles allows you to share your photos with other group members, send group email and more in your private area, plan get togethers or "start a place for all the groups of people in your life".

Don't really see the total point of being able to share your photo albums with othe people, but there must be a market for it ... otherwise it wouldn't be here :-)
You can even share music with others too?!?!?!? Don't think many people listen to my kind of music :-) (Maybe I'll give that a miss - I'm a complete folky/ celtic/ rootsy musichead - no one else seems to share my passion. Oh well).

Anyway....

You can start discussions - although I couldn't really ascertain whether this was like an 'ordinary' forum, where the whole world and his dog can join in, or whether it is restricted to your 'group'.

It's a good looking site and I suppose a useful concept ... if you have enough net friends to join you in a group. Usually people come together and become friends through a particular toipc or interest. Worth a look though if you like getting involved in and organising groups.
