Advantages: Education news as well as resources

Disadvantages: Mainly aimed at Americans

The first thing I noticed when I visited Education World was an ad from the sponsors - The American Fidelity Assurance Company.
Scrolling down the page you notice that its not the only American thing - in fact the whole site is.
Now I am not saying that it is a bad site - it could be very good for American children who are having an American education but with respect to the rest of the world it is claiming to be educating - its not really.
There are articles at present of the Civil War and of the Holocaust - so you may find general information that you could use, but on the whole definitely not Education World.
