Advantages: You kind of get money for nothing
Disadvantages: Poor layout, Payment is doubtful, Dodgy security
Well, I do! Naturally, if there were money on offer I wouldn’t say no. However, it seems that, “eformoney’s” definition of “money” is that of constantly changing numeric digits. Here’s how it works: ################### 1. You get sent Emails (supposedly); these are tailored to meet your interests. 2. You get paid so much for each one you receive, and for every one that your referrals receive. 3. You get pennies for each one, however their example model gives false impressions of 20+ emails per day. Me Experience ############# So far I have received about 3 emails, however my account now stands at about £9. All good and well, however this does not mean I am receiving £3 per mail. Oh no. “eformoney” call it the “hackers” fault. They claim to have been breached and the hackers have changed everyone’s account details so they’ve got more money. Well, they re-checked with a thorough audit, and have a guess what? I now have £10.84 in my account! I was at first pleased. However to get paid, you need to reach £25, continuing at my current rate – I shall receive this in about June 2002. However, I am afraid, I can’t see the site lasting this long. With poor organisation, and no income, how can we expect to be paid! I will of course keep you updated on their progress (If there is any to report) Share offer? ############ They are also running a share offer – where you get so many shares when you sign up, and so many for referring a friend. So far I have amounted 15 shares. How much these will be worth is anybody’s guess. Whether the company will float is doubtful. However we can all hope, and I think this is a nice, yet misleading, initiative for joining up. Current rates for payment are: ############################## £25 payout l
evel 10p per email YOU receive 2p per email your referrals receive 10p if you “request further info”. How to do this: your guess is as good as mine. Breakdown of the site: ###################### Main page – Company profile, objectives, basic info etc. Sign me up – If you haven’t been referred, this is where you need to be in order to become a member. Privacy Policy – Mumbo Jumbo, legal stuff. Free share offer – Explains there adventurous shares scheme View my account – Check how much “money” you have “earned”. How do I earn money – Or not as the case may be, breakdown of there proposed system. Presentation ############ In my opinion the presentation of the site is very amateurish, and it is very hard to believe that a company would have put so little effort in to the “shop window”. The green colour scheme is very British, yet very corny too. Along with the Microsoft clipart images, it doesn’t do much for “eformoney’s” image. Useful info: ########### The web address for eformoney is: www.eformoney.com The company is UK based. (Also only UK resident s can use it) The web address for the parent company is: www.eformedia.com Email: info@eformoney.co.uk Address: EFORMEDIA LTD, Alexander House, 19 Fleming Way, Swindon, Wilts, SN1 2NG Summary ####### E-FOR-MONEY? Well it seems as If their definition of “E” is very little. The poor account upkeep, and recent security issues, compiled with poor layout, can only spell disaster for this site. Then again, there’s plenty more fish in an ever growing see.

- 11/09/01 Apparently I've got £6.56 in my account - hmmm... don't think so! Especially as I haven't heard from them for AGES! I think www.htmail.com is a little better than this. Cheers RJL. (PS. Here's 5p towards your DVD writer!) |
