Electrotank Mini Golf brought productivity in our office down to virtually zero in a fortnight's crazed gameplaying. It's brilliant, and I heartily recommend bringing your firm to the brink of bankruptcy by having a go. I can't remember who first found it, but once they'd mentioned it everyone was challenging everyone else. The game is based on crazy golf, with 18 holes getting (we reckon) progressively harder. Electrotank is a fairly recent addition to the host of online gaming sites that have sprung up on the Internet. The bold vision statement on the site states that the people behind Electrotank want to ‘provide a place where game players can go to find killer web-based games’, and if the services provided match the standard of the first offerings, then such a target could be well within their grasp. Currently, however, the site offers a strictly limited selection of online games – this is expanding though, slowly but surely, and hopefully the 6 main sections will all soon be accessible. These are: Action, Multiplayer, Kids’ Corner, Sports, ... Read the complete review

Electrotank.com is an online gaming zone, put briefly. While it currently only hosts three games, more are waiting in the wings to be uploaded onto this fairly young website. Launched in the middle of July this year (2001), the site has grown to host three games - Mini Golf, Air Hockey and 9-Ball Pool. The engine behind this web site is Flash. Each of the games uses it, and uses it well. Traditionally Flash has been seen as a way of creating flashy (excuse the pun) opening pages, and little more. OK, some web sites have used it for other purposes, but to my knowledge none have used it this well before. This is fully interactive Flash technology at its best, and ... Read the complete review

This site looks like it has a hell of a lot of potential when it actually launches itself properly. The two games which it has on the site are really quite excellent when you compare them with other sites offering flash games to web users and if the rest follow in the same vein, then it could easily become the biggest and best one out there. I do spend a lot of time online and a fair proportion of that time is spent playing online games, although very rarely the more arcade style of flash games. I like puzzle and casino games like those seen at uproar.co.uk, flipside.co.uk and pogo.com rather than this type, but generally because I find most flash ... Read the complete review

Electrotank.com is a website which offers you games designed in Shockwave Flash. It doesn't offer a huge amount right now, but if it grows successfully, it could well be the biggest site on the net quite soon. At the time of writing (3rd September 01), Electrotank only offers two games : Mini Golf and Air Hockey. The mini-golf game is an outstanding creation, with 18 cartoony, colourful holes available. The ball physics are good and it is fun to play. You can also play online with other humans, which adds an extra challenge. The other offered game, Air Hockey, is also good fun. No two player option is offered as it is a fast paced game and the lag ... Read the complete review
