empireonline.co.ukNewest Review: ... I subscribed to Empire, because both times I got quite weak 'gifts' compared to what they were handing out the next month. Recent Features: I use this section quite a lot, this is where you get most of the movie information from in my eyes. If they do a poll and you miss it when it's in the highlights section, then you will very likely be able to find it within this section. There is a lot, a lot more on the home page, but I didn't want to space out the review with too much about just the home page. There is still a lot more to come. ======= Links ======= At the top of the home page you will find 12 links, some of them give you even... more |

As you probably already know, I am a big movie buff. It mainly comes from the fact that my dream job is to be a director or to do something within the film industry, however it has been this way for me for years now. I love everything and anything to do with film. When I found Empire magazine last year, I knew I found something perfect for my love of film. I quickly gave up my Sugar Magazine and Bliss Magazine buying habits and spent my money on the Empire Magazine as well. I myself prefer it in a magazine, but I'm sure some of you won't want to pay the £4 or so it costs for the magazine, but still want to know all about the new films out. Well if this is ... Empire online has to be one of my favourite websites out there because it keeps you up to date with what is going on in the film world. The main reason I visit this website is for the film reviews because every week they review nearly all of the films that are being released at the cinema. Each film is reviwed in great detail so I like to read what they have to say about each film. At the end of the review the critic gives their final verdict on the film and give the film a rating out of 5 stars. The reviews are that good that I always have a rough idea of what the film is like ad when I go and see that film they are usually right. They also review games and ... Read the complete review

empireonline.co.uk is the website of Empire magazine, which is one of best selling film magazines in the country. As it is the internet, this is a lot more in-depth than the magazine as you can update whenever you want and pick and choose what you want on the site. Going to the front page you can immediately see that there is so many different things to look at. They have interviews with all your favourite stars, and a daily quiz. Empire do actually have fun quizzes, they're not just your normal question and answer ones, it seems like they actually put some thought into them and so are always fun to solve. Of course, being a film website they also ... Read the complete review

Empire Online is a great site, packed full of cinema, DVD and video reviews. There are a host of other goodies such as interviews with actors and exclusive reportage on each season's film festivals. The major downside of this site is the overly-commercial nature and the pandering to the whims of the big studies. Very rarely is a heavily-promoted movie or actor criticised. But we all know how alluring the Hollywood promotion machine's gifts can be don't we? Despite this, Empire Online is my favourite UK film site alongside UKHotMovies.com ... Read the complete review

Get the title? Those of you who read Empire Magazine will already know how great it is. This website is merely an extension of the magazine, but what an extension it is. Its like getting a whole new house built on to the side of your existing one. It's like having two bags of haribo when you once had one. It's a double episode of Muppets Tonight! It is, quite simply sublime! The main component of the website is the newsboard on the front page. Every day it is updated with, shock horror, actually interesting stories! What's more, there's about 4 new ones posted each day. For example, they'll have a little snippet about a ... Read the complete review
