Empire Online is a great site, packed full of cinema, DVD and video reviews. There are a host of other goodies such as interviews with actors and exclusive reportage on each season's film festivals. The major downside of this site is the overly-commercial nature and the pandering to the whims of the big studies. Very rarely is a heavily-promoted movie or actor criticised. But we all know how alluring the Hollywood promotion machine's gifts can be don't we? Summary: |
