Ever since I took the eurostar to Paris I would never look back. I dont even know where to start in the list of things I love about it. The price of booking the eurostar is often, but not always cheaper than flying. The actual price varies based on time and demand, as with anything, but if you book well in advance, you are sure to get the times and price you want. There are now multiple stops in the UK. My closest one is Ashford, whcih is great as there is very little traffic approaching it, it is easy to park and you have to check in much later than you do before a flight.
