My favourite make-up brand of choice for my foundation and concealer is Everyday Minerals. I discovered them after previously trying out Bare Minerals, which I really liked, but a few people suggested Everyday Minerals to me and, after trying out some free samples from their website, I have stuck with them.
The first thing I should point out is that EverydayMinerals is based in the US and so shipping from them does take a bit longer than you'd expect, although I'd always been quite surprised at just how quickly the packages come through to me. They have mentioned about launching their products in Europe soon, but that they will cost slightly more due to the expense of doing this, so I'll probably carrying on ordering from this site. The postage prices aren't too expensive either, and because it's in dollars it can vary depending on the current exchange rate, but I've found it to be great value for money.
The website is very easy to use. It has an almost 'basic' design using mostly white, however there's also good pictures around the site of models advertising the latest range of make-up launched, such as 'new colours for fall.' The website runs quickly, and the drop down menus are easy to navigate through, making it quick to find what you're looking for.
Everyday Minerals do all sorts of mineral make-up. Categories you may notice will be Base, Face, Eyes, Cheeks, Conceal amongst others, and you'll find plenty of choice within each category to cater for your skin tone and type. For example in the Base section you'll find a very good range of different shades, some catered for fair skins, others with olive tones, you can be certain to find something for you here. Then, even when you've chosen a shade, you can choose what type of powder you want. So for example, you might want a mattifying powder, or a one to make your skin glow. The choice and combinations are quite endless! Even under the cheeks and eyes categories, you can spend a while pondering over all the different shades to choose from and again, there are different types to choose from.
EverydayMinerals.com also has a good 'make-up tool's' section. Here you can find all sorts of make-up brushes and I can vouch and say they will be of great quality! A decent brush is essential when using mineral make-up, otherwise it won't give the great results expected, but you won't be breaking the bank is buying a great quality kabuki brush from here.
EverydayMinerals will often run promotions where if you spend over a certain amount, you will get something free in your order. In my previous order I received 3 little pots of their new eyeshadows, whilst they are small, they'll last me ages as mineral make-up goes such a long way as only a small amount is needed! They often give away free brushes too, it will often state on the homepage what the latest 'free' product is. This doesn't stop there as there is also a try me for free section, here you will find a selection of products, and you can add one to your order for free, each time you order! So you might always find to get more than you bargained for when ordering from this site.
There is also a Community section where you can register and chat to other EverydayMinerals consumers and swap make-up idea's or recommend products to each other. Handy is you are unsure of mineral make-up and would like to ask some advice from people who have used it for a long time.
I've never had any problems with the shipping, and I always choose the lowest priced option. It can take a little over a week to arrive, but it's very well packaged and I've never had any problems such as missing items or damaged products. The ordering process is simple, and I always use PayPal which will convert the currency for you when you pay.
Overall I really recommend EverydayMinerals.com if you are a fan of mineral make-up or are considering giving it a go. The make-up is of high quality and it's quickly become my favourite, and the site is so easy to use I have no problems using it time and time again.
