Advantages: Easy to submit

Disadvantages: Lousy results, goes overboard on the sales pitch

Exactseek is a search engine and directory site, register yourself for free and submit your site if you have one, otherwise you are there to search and check out the directory.

Website layouts evolve quickly and this had a look of old simpleton to it, never a good sign for a website whose business is made up of primarily internet stuff, in my opinion.


Be warned though that these guys bombard you with offers for SEO and Traffic Increasing services as well as various expensive memberships of which the benefits are not particularly clear. Personally, I think they come across as quite unprofessional.

The proof of the pudding of course lies in the search results and it has to be said that I was surprised at the results Exactseek came up with, I typed in the name of a brand of not so popular lemonade to find that it came up with 3 results, quite paltry compared to googles 14,300. Now it's not all about quantity, so I thought I'd check out those 3 results and they weren't particularly accurate unfortunately. So ExactSeek doesn't receive any awards in the searching department either.

Summary: No need for these guys!
