Expedia is the only site we have ever booked our international holidays on and I absolutely love it! The best holiday we've ever been on - a two-week trip to Orlando - was booked on Expedia, as was our honeymoon. Although there can sometimes be benefits of using package holidays because of the airport pick-up etc., we were comfortable to make ... Read the complete review

Beware if booking over the phone with Expedia!!
We just called Expedia to ask a question about a holiday we were about to book, and as the girl was so helpful, we ended up booking the holiday whilst on the phone.
During the booking process we were told 'sorry, the price has gone up £30 whilst you've been on the phone', which, at the time we accepted. It could have been possible.
When we went back online to check the price, the price hadn't increased at all! I now feel like I've been slightly diddled.
Anyone else had the same problem? It's put me off booking with Expedia again in the future.

I've just finished booking a break to Italy in September via Expedia, so I thought I'd write a review whilst it's still fresh in my mind. I've not used the website before, but I've heard good things about it. This review is focused on my experience of using the website itself, and not the actual holiday (as I've not been on it yet), or customer ... Read the complete review

Expedia may be seen as a 'one stop shop' in terns of one's travel and accommodation requirements. I bookmarked it, which probably says where I'm coming from. In terms of personal experience, I used Expedia to book a flight-plus-hotel package to Thailand in April, and I was impressed by the variety of hotels on display. The site gives ... expedia.co.uk Expedia is one of my favourite sites as I use it o book a lot of my holidays abroad and I like to use it to plan my next jaunts away too. It actually isn't an easy review to do as it's a hard website to review. So I have tried to break it down into what it is and what's on it and then reflecting on my personal ... Having used Expedia 4 times in the past year, I guess you could say that says a lot in itself. We've had one stay in London and three trips booked to New York via Expedia, and my experiences to date have been satisfactory, pleasant, mediocre, no major issues, relatively easy to navigate and book. Now it all depends on your take on those ... Read the complete review

The last time I travelled by air was in the year 2000, when people generally went to a travel agent's, waited ages until a member of staff was free, and then ages more to get information and have journeys and hotels booked for them. I had no idea just how easy things had become online using sites such as Expedia. I wanted to make a ... Read the complete review

On three separate holiday-booking occasions I have called up Expedia for a quote, have been told a price, gone away to discuss it with my husband, only to find that the price has gone up by the next phone conversation. It seems phenomenal to me that the prices can fluctuate by over £100 within an hour, and yet if you book on line the price ... Read the complete review

Expedia Expedia probably should have been in my internet top ten list. When I am fortunate enough to be booking holidays or trips I always check the prices on expedia. What is Expedia? Expedia is a very easy website to use. Its basically an online booking agent in which you can search for flights, hotels, and all holiday booking necessities. Just search if you have a country or area in mind, and it will come up with a list of options. I find the best thing to do is to organise it by prices, and then you can see what ... Expedia is a great website whether you are just researching holidays and prices or actually booking one. I have used Expedia several times over the past couple of years and have never had a problem. I used expedia to book flights for a trip to China this summer. Although the flight cost has since gone down, much to my disappointment, they were the best priced flights available at the time and I felt the service was easy to use. My family and I have used Expedia to book several trips over the past few years, especially transatlantic trips to the USA. I have used Expedia many times and would definitely recommend them. I will admit I have only used the expedia website on one occasion, but I cannot fault them at all.
