Advantages: Great way to stay in touch and make new friends

Disadvantages: Not a good program in itself

Facebook is an online website that allows you to remain in contact with friends and family. It allows you to upload images, create event, and join/create groups. It also has a facebook chat system, which is similar to msn, but not as good, and is prone to crashing (i read somewhere that this is to do with it having a large bandwidth, but i am not sure why this means it crashes a lot)
The good thing about facebook is that out of all the social networking sites, it is probably the most popular, with myspace a close second. Furthermore, it has some fun applications, such as quizzes and games, which makes the website fun to use.

But facebook has its problems. Firstly, its not as easy to use as other networking sites. Furthermore, the facebook website tends to crash often, due to the number of people that use it. Another problem, is that facebook will disable your account given any excuse, as at times, they want to have less active accounts. I got disabled for using it to much once!

This website is a great way to make friends quickly when moving to a new school or university, but i do not like facebook as a program in itself.
