Advantages: loads of features easy to use massive community good safety/privacy

Disadvantages: nothing worth mentioning

Facebook is much like its competitors (bebo, myspace etc.), its a social networking site. Facebook seems to be more popular among people who are finished with school. Teenagers go on bebo instead (mostly). Personally, I think that on the whole, Facebook is a very good site. There are a few drawbacks, but not anything big.

For one of the most popular features on Bebo (photos), you can upload as many photos as you want. Recently, Facebook made a very good change to their system of only allowing 60 photos in the one album. As of May just passed, 200 photos can now be put in the one album. A big difference from Bebo's 49 photos limit. The amount of albums allowed is still almost unlimited.

Friends are easy to find on the Facebook network. All you need to do is type in their email/name etc. Facebook finds the profile for you (if there is one) and from there on it only takes 1 click. Once friends have been added, you can leave comments on friends profiles. Tag (name them in the photo) your friends in your photos. The recent activity section is also shown whenever someone goes to your profile. This does what it says, if you have been tagged in photos, had comments left, added new friends etc. It will show up here. If public comments aren't for you, then you can send a mail message as well. The Mail part of Facebook is just like having your own email limited to your facebook friends.

Safety is also very good on Facebook. You can choose whether your profile can be viewed by friends only, or anybody. If your profile is private, then people who try to get on to it won't get anywhere. They just get a screen in which they can send a friend request to you.

So overall, Facebook is a worthwhile site. There are bucket loads of features on it and its free to!

P.s - forgot to mention in the review. Applications is another big part of Facebook. These can be downloaded to your profile. They range massively in what they do, from an IQ test to classic games. There are literally thousands to choose from.
