Facebook is a networking site designed to meet new people or stay in contact with old friends.
I used to use My Space but found it complicated to use.

I find Facebook very easy to use and I like the fact you can control who sees what.
Its great to see what friends are doing and how they are feeling.

You can set up your profile to your requirements so you can control who see's your information.
There is a section to upload your photo albums. You can then set the privicy of these so you control who sees them. You can put the curser over a friends face in you photos and tag them so it will show on their profile.

To add a friend just click on the profile picture and click 'add as a friend' a message will be sent to them and they can either accept or reject your request.



You can send messages to your friends either on their wall so all can see or privately like an email.

There is a section where you right a message for the day so all your friends can see for example how you are feeling.

There are lots of quizzes and games that can be played with friends.

Summary: Great way to keep in contact with friends and meet new ones
