Advantages: share photos, videos, messages with family friends, never lose contact!

Disadvantages: There are a few problems with the site sometimes but it still gets 5 stars!

Facebook is brilliant and in my opinion, the best social networking site out there, it beats twitter by a long mile.
Basically, you have your own wall in which you can update your status to tell the friends/family you have added what your up to and how your feeling, people post all sorts on their status, from what they have done that day, to what they've just bought.
Facebook allows you to add as many friends as you like, even if you don't know them! I keep in contact will all my old school friends, friends from activities, family etc all on facebook.
You can share pictures, videos, messages on facebook too, you can make photo albums and tag friends faces on them and show other people videos of you or other people. There is so much you can do on facebook and it's the social network site i use the most, i would fully recommend this to everyone, of every age that wants to keep in contact with family and friends.
Brilliant, can't say anything bad about it.

Summary: Brilliant social networking site, the best around!
