Facebook is a great way to stay in contact with old friends and a great place to make new ones. I love facebook for many reason, heres a couple.

One reason I made a Facebook profile is because all my friends had one, and I felt left out, they were all saying how amazing it was and they spent most there life on it so I had to check it out!

A advantage is you can play games on Facebook too, so if you have viewed all the latest comments and pictures you can have a laugh and challenge your friends to beat your scores, you can also take quizes, these quizes can be really fun, like; what is your boob size? How much of a bad ass are you? and more.

Another reason I join is because you can upload your pictures on to your profile and let all your friends see them, vies versa with your friends profiles.
When I first joined it was quiet confusing, I'm not going to lie, it took me a while to learn how to use it!

One advantage of Facebook is that you can stay in touch with friends all over the world.

Another advantage is that you can set your profile to private so that no one you don't know can view your profile and your pictures, good if you share pictures of your children on your profile.

Another plus to Facebook is that you can keep your friends up to date with what you're doing by uploading your photos and commenting your own profile or theirs, so you and your friends can have a conversation on facebook.

Another feature of facebook is that there is a instant messaging option, were it tells you what friends are onlie like on msn you can click on there name and start an instant messaging conversation. you can find this feature on the bottom right hand corner.

One disadvantage with using Facebook is that like many other internet social networks that your profile can get hacked if you do no create a secure password, this can lead to others changing your passwords it can lead to them finding out your passwords to other sites like hotmail, the hackers can then see everything you see and do everything you do like comment on peoples profiles.

Some can argue that Facebook can become a form of online bulling, it has been on the new many of times, you see Facebook is always targeted for being a place were paedophiles groom children and how school bulling can become home bulling within a few clicks, etc.

I think that facebook has its uses, it also can be used to make potitions, you can start them quite easily simply start a group and mail it to your friend to join and then they will do the same, evently millions of people would be apart of the group, it is things like this can make a difference to the enviroment.

Summary: a good site if used properly!
