Advantages: Find friends, catch up, show off your pics to your friends and family

People you don't want to find you turn up!! (GRRRRR)
Someone's bound to put a terrible picture of you on there for all to see!
Really tempremental!

I don't mind using it when it's actually working, but Facebook seems to act up an awful lot. Ok so yes you can plan your days with friends on there but thats only when it works!

I understand for some people using online communities is the only way they can keep in touch with people who live far away from them, but the site gets sooooo busy it crashes at the slightest thing. I have been having terrible trouble trying to upload photo's on it.

It's an excellent place to laugh at what some of your friends write, and sometimes people will just need cheering up and you can be there immediatly for them.

As Facebook let's you decide who to add to your friend list, you can controll the people who chat to you, but rejecting them doesn't mean the won't keep trying!! It also suggests people to you that you may have forgoten about and then you spend hours catching up (when it doesn't crash)!

Overall I would recommend it as it's a huge community but beware you could be left waiting for a page all day (grrrrrr).

Summary: A good site if you have the paitence to wait while it get's things right!
