For anyone who has been living on mars for the past 5 years Facebook is a online social networking site. You can contact old school friends and see what they are up to now or contact your current friends and chat to them.

There are many things you can do on Facebook including,

Mindjolt games.

Mindjolt games is the game service on Facebook there are 100s of games you can play such as, Snake, Bowling and hook a duck. You get a score for each game and your score will go onto "your friends this week" and "your friends all time" this is where you compare your score with your friends. If you get a good enough score then you will be on the "all of facebook leader boared. You can also play tex em hole up and save your chips.

Facebook chat.

Facebook chat is just like windows messanger. You can see who is currently on Facebook and talk to them if you want to. Unlike windows messanger you can not play games or view webcams on Facebook.

Profiles.

The main point of facebook is to view your and your friends profiles. This is where you write what you have been up to in or whatever is on your mind in your status. Your status appears on the home page of all of your friends. You can also uploads photos of your self or places you have been for everyone to see and comment on. There is a page on your profile where you can add infomation about your self such as Age: Tel: Views: Fav music: ect. You do not have to fill this in.

Security.

You can either set you profile to let everyone see it or set it up so just your friends can see it. I would advise everyone to only let friends see your profile because of scams and phedophiles. You can choose your friends by typing there name into the serch bar or by acsepting their request if they have serched you.

Groups and pages.

People can create groups such as "I bet we can get 100,000 Scots to join this group." or "I used to stick glue to my hands just to take it off again when it has gone hard" You can join groups and this will be on your profile.

Overall i think Facebook is a fantastic site which is not just for teens.

Just dont get too adicted too it.
