Disadvantages: lack of privacy
Overall Facebook is brilliant, I couldn't live without it.
It is a social network which allows communication between people from all over the world.
However it does have some drawbacks, such as lack of privacy.
My favourite thing about the Facebook service is the messaging function, which I now use even more than text messaging.
However the worst thing about Facebook has got to be the complicated privacy settings, which are constantly changing and trying to catch you out.
For example one minute only your friends can see your pictures, and then anybody can, so checking your privacy setting regularly is important.
An important thing to know before signing up for Facebook is that it is seriously addictive, you find yourself checking it at least twice a day.
Facebook is updating and changing all the time, and example of this is the video call function which has recently been added.
In conclusion although Facebook does have its drawbacks, I would still recommend it.
Summary: Facebook does have its drawbacks, I would still recommend it.
