Facebook, it's a word so common now, it's a bit like telling someone who wants to know something to go and "Google it".

Facebook is an online social interaction website were by you find your friends and add them as a friend , then , next time you write something on your home page or add a photo or anything , that friend of yours will see it and will have the option to comment or like the subject .

By liking something, you're basically giving it a thumbs up and approving that it was a good thing that was said or done in a photo or anything.

Some people see it as a competition to get as many friends as possible , although personally , I only have about 90 or 100 people , most of them are people I've worked with in the past etc. but others seem to have over 1,000 friends . Which I find amazing.

On Facebook, you can join groups, some are funny and others are just stupid. By joining them, you're basically saying, I enjoy the activity or quote and then you can connect with others that have joined the same group. Therefore finding people in common with you.

You can also play games, all sorts of games. Although these are mostly basic graphic and basic games all with the same idea behind them such as, start off with nothing much on a small piece of land /building, then expand it, grow it and sell it on. Once you get too big, it becomes boring and pointless playing them. But that's just a personal opinion and people like my money are now on level 100 on some games.
I see Facebook as a massive money making company, the idea behind it is great and I find it useful to help arrange things between my mates for when we do days out. Others are just additive to it and have it on their mobile phones and everything and have to do everything via there Facebook, even down to telling their loved one they love them .....Via Facebook.

As a summery , I do believe this is one man's massive and very well built website for socialising , on the other hand , I do think it's gotten too big and may be its own down fall .
