faceparty.comNewest Review: ... profile page is very limited, where you can only upload a few pictures, write a little comment about yourself and expalin your likes and dislikes, but you can now add a coloured background (wooo moving on with the times). You used to be able to pay a one off fee to recieve extra entitlements such as private pictures (tend to be half naked people), get access to whos viewed your profile and rated you, but im not sure if you still can, but in my opinion im not sure if it was really worth it. Now they do this thing if you text your profile name in (costing £1.50) you can get your profile on the home page...really are you that desprite to get... more |

Well Faceparty is defently one of the more old schol networking sites. I joined up proberly something around 6/7 years ago when there whern't really many networking sites around, now youv'e got facebook, bebo, myspace etc. It was a pretty basic site and still is, doesn't have anything on facebook which rules my life, sad i know but it does a lot of people. I have very mixed views on FaceParty. I joined up when I was in school, I was probably about 13, my friends were all on it, and it was before the days of MSN (more the days of Yahoo Chat!) and so we all got ourselves profiles. We were only little kids, and so to be honest didn't know the dangers of putting our personal pics and info out on the internet...but we did so anyway! Face Party is a social networking site, or so it used to be....now its more of a "I need a good s**g I'm gonna go find someone"... I go on faceparty sometime when I am bored, nobody on msn to chat to, so I go on to find some funky people who I can have a natter with. ... Read the complete review

Sandalphon sorry to about the crazy stalker.. but my advice if you don't like a chatsite don't use it simple, because faceparty is pissed off at the moment because people don't know when to stop it with their crazy games. the only reason they stopped people from joining because they had to many pricks and the perverts and people sueing them takeing them to court it was ponkers so they had enough told them to all F-OFF they did not want to delete accounts but they had to choice they even had people tuneing up at their door-step complaining and wanting them shutdown how stupid is that, faceparty has been around for years they put up with this rubbish for years they will shutdown soon because of this rubbish done to them it's only a matter of time it's a shame i loved faceparty but now it's rubbish shame

I have a 7 year long cyberstalker who was finally arrested twice in april 2008. In january, quite by chance, I was googling an id i knew he was using elsewhere, and found a faceparty result for that id. It was about 3 am in the morning, i could not sleep. I clicked on the google result and found him live online, converting his own profile to an abusive one about myself and my partner. Faceparty did take it down when i complained, but i believe they owe me a formal apology and compensation for the grief. I have found out who their solicitors are. You can complain to them here :-

In the past I have reviewed Facebook as a superb social utility. And made mention of what I thought about Faceparty, but I would not like to give it a good slating in full detail. I was signed up to Faceparty years and years ago, not by my own choice, a friend of mine at the time told me I HAD to be on there, she also said the same with Myspace. Both accounts are now deleted. Faceparty is not a social networking site, not in the desired way anyway. In the old days they used to hold massive parties and offered a more alternative view to what social networking sites should be about. They didn't offer musch in the way of games, music, and fun, and ... Read the complete review
