As you have probably guessed from the amount of book reviews I post onto Dooyoo, I'm an avid reader, and I really love my chick lit books! But as well as loving reading the books, I like to research the authors, the other books they've written and any upcoming releases due out as well. I got annoyed at trying with Amazon as that was a pain, and the authors websites weren't always up to date. To me, the written word is a form of escapism. Escape from the menial day to day tasks, escape into a fantastical world of mystical characters and realms, escape into a world not directly known to myself. Because of my passion for reading I often find myself seeking new authors, or searching for the many novels written by a singular person.
