Advantages: wide variety of topics and information
Disadvantages: none so far
This site was advertised in the Daily Mail and I thought I'd give it a go. There are a wide variety of items to interest everyone ranging from news, health, beauty, relationships, parenting, fashion, entertainment or food and drink. You can take part in polls on a whole range of topics, check the daily weather, go shopping, enter competitions or while away your time with 10 minute timekillers. It has extras such as a calender, e mail usage and picture galleries so you can view photos of latest events such as the Oscar awards. Many of the items you will need to register to use them, but the process is straight forward. The amusing part is that is has a 'panic button', so if you are playing on the internet when you shouldn't (such as at work) you can click on this and a flow chart will appear making you look very conscientious. I found the health section very informative, you can retrieve graphic pictures for information or ideas for alternative medicine or support groups for advice. It provides information centres for diseases and conditions, medicines and examinations. The message boards are great if you want to discuss topics with others who have the same problem or you want further information or just to chat.
