I became a member of firstmovies.com in July 2000 when the site did offer an extremely good service; there was many preview screenings countrywide with at least one a month and the likelihood of receiving tickets was exceptionally high too.

However within the last 12 months the bottom has seemed to have dropped out of this site, offering fewer showing in fewer places, mainly major cities, the likelihood of scoring tickets has dramatically decreased, and they only seem to collaborate with Stella Artois.

Competitions are still a regular weekly occurance but the weekly e-mail which was like clockwise, delivered to your inbox every thursday night can arrive anytime over the weekend. By which time if it informed you of vouchers in The Sun on Thursday and Friday to collect for free cinema tickets it became no longer useful.
