The Guardians 'Football Unlimited' page http://football.guardian.co.uk/ is a fantastic daily read! I am only surprised that not more people have written an op on the site.

The lay out of the site has been updated and improved within the last few months. Although the old site was easily navigable, the new set up has a far more impressive look to it.

Even now, during the off season there is plenty of information up on the site and it is regularly updated. The transfer gossip is backed up by well written opinion pieces so that there is always new, quality writing available. During the season the material is added to more frequently as is only natural!

In addition to the usual details that one might expect in any football resource, Football Unlimited has:

A daily interactive quiz (does what it says on the packet)

'The Fiver' - a humorous and well written daily take on what is going on in the world of football delivered directly to your email at five o'clock - precisely when you need something to get you through to the end of the day

'The Knowledge' - a weekly football trivia column with questions and answers from readers (sometimes very trivial!)

and during the season 'Ormondroyd's football round ups' - quite the funniest review of the weekend's football (with stick men) around. See www.ormondroyd.co.uk to see what I mean - its even funnier at the time.

For anyone with an interest in football this is a must for your favourites file - top quality football writing with a healthy dose of humour thrown in.
