What is it? ~~~

Freecycle is an huge online community not just for the UK either it is pretty much a global community.
You apply to become a member of a group local to you, if there isn't one you can apply to became a moderator of your own group!
Members list offered or wanted items they can vary from good home wanted for a pet of some kind, to household funiture, to clothing and other various items.
There is a rule ~ Everything listed must be free!!

I have offered a few things on my local Freeccycle group and have had a great response! Sometimes though you can get a sob story email for your stuff only to find out they are just being greedy lol!

You may also find posts a lot like this ~ "Wanted- 47 inch flat screen TV. !!! They will go on to say how it must be in very good condition.....I guess people just like to try their luck!!

People generally offer items that are in very usuable condition unless they have stated otherwise. I know of someone who very nearly furnished their new flat with furniture from Freecycle! From paint to the lovely double bed they have!!

Overall a great site for off loading your stuff without the hassle of taking it to the dump and a great site if you need what other are giving away.

I once had a kiddies Mcdonalds and ELC kitchen given to me by one kind freecycler and my kids had so much fun with them! All for free too :o)
