FreeGamesWeb is my favourite freeware download site. Like most of these sites, it is arranged by genre of game - here there are about ten groups. What makes this site special is that each game is fully reviewed - before you download you can look at at least one screenshot, check the specs, read a review and look at the list of download sites. After wading through site after site where you find 86 pages of games, twenty to a page, where some are only demos, others just movies and many boast 'uptodate EGA graphics!', to find a site where most games are recent, and you known what you are getting, was a blessed relief.
