Go to www.bbc.co.uk/whatson/tickets/ and you are presented with categorised lists of shows for which tickets are available. Enter a few details and the BBC will post out tickets to you free of charge. Not bad eh! Last night I went to watch a recording of Jeremy Hardy Speaks To The Nation. It was funny, quite short with not too many retakes and the seats are comfy. It started at 8.00 doors at 7.45 and we were in the pub by 9.15. All in all something for nothing, no need to sign up and recieve e-mails, browse other sites or give long lista of ... more

Did you know that the bbc gives away many free tickets for recordings of its shows? No neither did I until recently. Ok some of the shows are not great (Generation Game, National Lottery, etc) but some like Shooting Stars and They Think Its All Over are well worth applying for. Premium Review freeguide.co.uk: Good - but could do better. (161 words)

Freeguide was one of the first 'Freebie' sites I started visiting. At first it seemed great - loads of good offers - both 'current' and 'archived' and plenty to keep the novice freebie hunter amused. After a while I noticed that the new freebies weren't as thick and fast as before and updates were becoming less frequent. Perhaps there was a lack of new free offers ? But other sites didn't seem to be suffering the same downturn. Then the updates became less and less frequent. Of late the site seems to be on the rise again - with a daily 'new freebie' promised before 12:00 noon (I've never ...  Read the complete review

FREEBIE GALORE (127 words)

I went to www.freeguide.co.uk as a result of a reading an opinion on dooyoo.co.uk. It was highly recommended and now I know why. It is an excellent site, well laid out and easy to navigate. Being a student and being skint most of the time this site was an Aladdins cave of treasures!! It has about 15 categories of free stuff, anything from free CD ROMS, vouchers, aftershave samples, free domain names and most important of all CASH!! I signed up for many freebies, and most arrived but beware of American sites as most of them fail to respond. This site is for anyone who wants to try out some new products and especially any broke students out there!!  ...  Read the complete review

Let me introduce you if you already haven’t to the UK’s largest free stuff guide. There are virtually hundreds of lists to chose from, CD’s, samples, Telecom, CD-ROMs, ISP’s, e-mail, and loads more. No strings attached and most of these are 100% free, and we all love the word Free don’t we? When, I first visited this site I was really impressed by the layout of the site, it was easy for me to browse the many things to offer without getting to confused, whilst still read the text on the homepage. On the left hand side of the site there is a list of the categories of Freebies, and if you click in to them you will get a ...  Read the complete review
