Although this Writers' site is US based there is still a lot which is of value to UK writers. Infact this is quite an impressive resource and it certainly got me thinking. The first thing I looked at was the Writers Web Newsletter (click on Web Event on the top left of the homepage to find this). What an amazing list! There are lots of contests listed here. These are all US based but entry is mostly by email so there is no reason why a UK writer can't try the American market.
