Advantages: Good selection of chocolates and vouchers
Disadvantages: None
I have been a member of Freesnacks.co.uk for a few months now, and in that time I have received quite a few deliveries of chocolates, biscuits and Asda vouchers, and never spent a penny!
How have I done this? Well, Freesnacks operates the same way as all those cashback sites which are around, but instead of being awarded cashback for purchases and completing offers, you are awarded points, which you can exchange for chocolates, biscuits, cakes and vouchers.
Freesnacks has over 300 members who are using the site and forum, and has grown rapidly since it began, recently branching out into America also. The site is owned and ran by the same person who owns CashbackXtreme which is a good cashback site that has been around for quite a while now.
Joining the site is easy, you only need to enter and confirm a few details, such as your name, address and email and you are ready to go. You will also be given some points to get you started!
To begin earning points simply go to 'Categories' and you will notice listed four sub-sections - Competitions, Daily Offers, Sign Ups and Reward Sites.
If you click on 'Competitions' then five pages of competitions will appear for you to enter, and you will be awarded points for each one you enter. You can enter these more than once if you have more than one email address. If you haven't, then it only takes a couple of minutes to create another email address with Yahoo or Gmail for example.
Click on Daily Offers and this will give you four pages of offers you can complete daily, most of which do not require any details from you and are just Search sites, such as Search Chief for example, where you just enter a product you may be interested in purchasing, and you will be given a list of places which stock it and the price. You then click on one of these and you are awarded points for clicking through to the retailer.
Another daily offer example is Compare The Market, the car insurance comparison website. You will earn points for obtaining a car insurance quote.
Click on 'Sign Ups' and 9 pages of sign up offers are available. These range from signing up to Survey sites such as IPSOS and Lightspeed to services such as Snapfish which is an online digital photo printing service. As well as receiving points for signing up, you will also be entitled to receive 30 free prints from Snapfish.
Clicking on Reward Sites gives you one page of other cashback/reward sites which you will receive points for joining.
There is another sub-section under 'Categories' titled 'Snacks' and when clicking on this you will see all the snacks and vouchers you can exchange your points for. Not only can you redeem your points for chocolates such as Cadbury's Milk Tray, Ferrero Rocher, Cadbury Variety Bags, etc . There are also £10 vouchers for Asda, Tesco and Morrisons. You can even redeem your points for Weightwatchers cakes if you are on a diet or want a healthier option!
Delivery of your snacks is usually within a week after requesting them. They always arrive quickly and are well-packed. Vouchers are sent by recorded delivery.
There is a forum on the site for any help and advice, or you can contact admin directly for advice or support if needed.
Competitions are available each month on the forum, which gives you a chance to win points or snacks.
There are also video tutorials on the site to help and advise you on how to complete offers if you are unsure.
The site is updated each Monday and Thursday when your points are added to your account. Sometimes there may be some offers which do not track. This can be due to the offer not being completed properly, but if you think it was and do not recieve your points, then email support and they will have a look at it for you. All queries are answered promptly and I find them to be very helpful.
I have been a member for a while now and not had any problems. I usually log in each day and complete some offers and daily clicks and it is surprising how quickly your points add up. I redeemed a lot of points before Christmas and received a few boxes of Chocolates and selection boxes which I used towards Christmas presents and stocking fillers. Since then I have redeemed a few Asda vouchers which have came in handy when doing my shopping.
It is one of my favourite websites and highly recommend it to anyone, not just Chocoholics!
Give it a try, I am sure you will enjoy it!
Summary: An easy to use cashback site with a difference!
