It sells Nintendo DS, Gameboy, Gamecube, PC Games, Playstation 2 & 3, PSP, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360 and all the accessories and games available for those consoles. Websit e layout and design & ease of use
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The website it layed out well and easy to navigate around. The homepage displays the options of consoles and games or accessories available to them so you can click on the correct one you are looking for. If you are not sure exactly what you are looking for the homepage also highlights the websites top 10 sellers, which are currently different games for several different consoles. Underneath top sellers there is also a pre-order chart displaying the top 10 selling games which have not yet been released yet. They also have a recommended section where everyday a few new and different products the website stocks are advertised here. At the top of the page there is a search section, where if you know exactly what game you were looking for you could type it in there without having to go through all the sections relating to it. At the top of the website there are several options such as storefinder, reward card, wish list, your basket, your account, help and login. All these are well displayed and in a good location. All in all I think the homepage has all it needs on it and has been set out really well, even for less experienced computer users. All other pages are layed out in a similar way and are just as easy to navigate through. If you are in any doubt about where to find what you are looking for there is a search option available which is very useful. You can even enter your email address so you recieve a newsletter informing you of all the new releases and deals that Game.co.uk has to offer.
Selection of products
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Game.co.uk sells all the consoles around thesedays and a huge selection of games and accessories for them at competitive prices. They have all the latest releases and rarely out of stock, they have pre-order games available to order and even a large selection of older less popular games, which you can usually get for a good bargain. Game offers alot of its latest releases for cheaper than some competors, but sometimes it is worth shopping round to get the best deal, as computer games wherever you buy them from are expensive, so you want to get the best deal you can, you usually can with Game though. When Xbox 360's first came out they were sold out most places, but at a good deal they were still available on Game.co.uk. Whatever game or accessory you are looking for you are likely to find it on Game.co.uk.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pre-owned products
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Similar to Amazon.co.uk, Game.co.uk offers pre-owned products for sale as well as the new product. So if you no longer want your game you can sell it through Game.co.uk, as you are selling it cheaper than the shop as it is second hand this section is usually quite popular.

Ordering
~~~~~~~
The beauty of ordering online is being able to log on anytime of the day or night or anyday and you can place an order, you don't have to wait until the shop opens or there is a member of staff available. The ordering process on Game.co.uk is simple and easy to use, even my mum, who is useless with computers managed to order something this Christmas on it, on her own! Before making an order you must register with the website, you can do this after but it is much easier to do it before. It only takes a few minutes and you have to provide your name address, a login name and password etc, this enables you to purchase products on the website, time and time again by simply entering your login name and password. To order on Game.co.uk you will need to have one of the following cards - VISA, MasterCard credit cards as well as Maestro, Solo and Delta debit cards. You select the product you would like to purchase, click on it and then it displays more information about the product, price and whether it is available to be delivered immediately or whether it is currently out of stock and how long it will take to be delivered, if you want to pre-order an item that has not yet been released they give you the date it is released and when you will expect to recieve it. Then once you have decided to purchase it, you click on add to basket, which puts it into your basket for you, you can choose to contine shopping and purchase any other items or you can locate your basket at the top of the page and just purchase that item, if you wish to do that then just click on your basket, when you are in your basket it confirms to you exactly how long your product will take to be delievered, gives an selection of delivery options such as free delivery which takes 2 working days or express with you have to pay for but takes 1 day, personally I think 2 days is an acceptable waiting time especially for free delivery. Your basket gives you a summary of what you are buying and the price and if you still wish to continue with your purchase then you go to the check out, here is where you enter your delivery address and card details etc, once that is done, your order is complete and will be with you within a few days.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Secure Shopping
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Game.co.uk use encryption technology to ensure that any information you transmit during the ordering process is secure. Their servers are secured to protect all personal information including credit card numbers, your address and any products you may order. Game.co.uk has been certified as an Authentic SiteSeal Site and displays the SiteSeal logo to prove it.
If you still do not feel comfortable sending your credit card information over the Internet, and prefer to place the order by phone with a Game Customer Services Representative you can do so.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Delivery & Returns
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I have previously ordered products for Xbox 360 and Playstation 2 I have found the website has a speedy delivery process, all products came with a few days and the delivery was free, which was a bonus as it was no more than a shop. The only problem was having to wait for the game to come, even though it was only a few days I wanted to play it then! I've never had any problems with this website.
Game has a 28 day returns policy for products brought instore or online. If you purchase something online and are not satisfied with it, as long as it is still as new you can return it, you can either post it back or take it into a local store for a refund or exchange.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Game Reward Program
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Reward Membership is available to Customers in the UK and Republic of Ireland for £3 for life, you can sign up on their website for this anytime, even just before your first purchase. You'll receive your Reward Card number immediately, which means that you can start using it straight away for shopping online. You will then be sent a card, so it can be also used in stores. On each purchase you make you gain points, and obviously the more you spend the more points you get, you can also get bonus points too. You can use these points towards future purchases. This is a great thing to have if you will use Game stores and Game.co.uk regularly as you will make a good saving, but if you are only shopping there once it isn't worth it.
~~~~~~~~~~
Conclusion
~~~~~~~~~~
I would really recommend Game.co.uk to anyone purchasing video games, consoles and accessories. The prices and selection of products are competetive to other gaming websites and the delivery is free and fast, I have never had any problems with the store or website.
